CLASSES:
A brief history of the Instructors, Class Content Developers, Editors and Web Hosting services:
- The Instructors generally have at least five years experience in the topics they are teaching.
- The Content Developers we use have 30 years in developing classes for firms such as the University of Phoenix, NASA, AC Delco, Wadsworth/Thomson Learning and
other industrial clients.
- Web hosting is provided by Eduhosting.org. While their "Children's" web sites are often 'image' and 'ka-boom' oriented (kids like that style), the adult content is generally more in a white-paper format with less images. Eduhosting sponsors the Kids Computer Kamp program - free PCs for Kids since 1983 and has developed online classes for a wide variety of educational and industrial institutions.
- Classes are either in basic HTML or Blackboard: a type of class many online learning institutions use.
- The Editors work with both the Content Developers and Eduhosting.org and many have done so for over 10 years. The classroom content editos have worked with the firms listed above, especially Wadsworth/Thomson Learning and the University of Phoenix. One of the Editors has published over 15,000 web pages, so they do bring some experience to the arena.
Classes are generally offered in either:
- ONLINE FORMAT: you will need to have a PC and Internet and often, you will need to install Mozilla Firefox as your browser. While many of the classes work fine with Internet Explorer, some do not (I.E. crashes and is considered to be junk by many web developers). Firefox doesn't crash.
The online classes usually go through a page or two of lessons, followed by a series of of 3 to 5 assignments or a quiz to insure you know the material.
- SEMINAR FORMAT: some Instructors teach their classes live. Locations vary and in addition to the cost for the class, you'll have to arrange for travel, meals and lodging at your own expense. These classes are especially useful for forming Teams and often the 'advanced students' prefer these types of classes.
Please remember: the goal is not to 'teach' you about renewable energy projects,
its to get you to 'graduate' and invest intelligently, while insuring
you don't lose money and often earn 20% or more ROI. You'll learn how
to leverage capital safely to reduce risk and job cost expenses on well designed projects and do your
investing in a low-stress environment, where everyone on your Team is pitching in.
At KWH Exchange
we suggest you make this part of your life
a low stress event.

TEACHING STYLE:
While most colleges and the online Universities provide reduced support for
online classes, we believe that TEST SCORES AND GRADUATE
LEVELS RISE PROPORTIONAL TO SUPPORT DURING THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS. Therefore,
we generally take a HANDS ON PERSONAL APPROACH with all of our classes.
What does that mean?
- If you need help, ask. If we can't answer it by email, we'll try a chat
room or forum (where you get help from multiple sources, including teachers,
tutors and fellow students and even graduates) and if that doesn't work
we'll try the direct phone call approach. If you get stuck, either the Teacher's
material was weak or our edited content derived from that material was insufficient
or inaccurate to give you confidence: we're always working to improve our content.
Perhaps the Instructor was having a bad week (it happens) or your Tutors and Team members
were unavailable when you needed them: that happens too. Those problems are generally resolved by
our Team member approach: if you are on a Team of students or graduates and one peson can't answer your
question, there is probably someone on your Team who can.
Sometimes you are having a bad week and learning is difficult for you. No worries. If we have to
spend some extra time to insure you understand each chapter,
we will.
- All KWH Exchange Teachers are paid based on TEST SCORES and GRADUATES, not for
enrollment or number of hours teaching, so they do their best to improve their
classes and get everyone through each class.
- If you need references (i.e. third-party web sites), we'll find them and
send the links your way. A lot of research can be done on the web and this
helps give you a better overview of much of the material. For example, in the
class for Sovereign Wealth Funds, many of these managers (students)
are older and very experienced and trusted, but may not have the same web skills
as a 25 year old student. We'll help you obtain both the web skills and methods for
finding answers online, whether its in our class or through a related link.
- Personal visits: you bet. If you're willing to pay for the flight, meals
and loding, some of our teachers would love to come visit you. This is especially
helpful if you and a group (i.e. a bunch of local landowners) are considering pooling
assets through one or more programs. Having a small community meeting with a live
person is a great way to cover material quickly and get everyone's questions answered.
- Chat, Forums and Conference Calls: whether its just you or Team that's already
formed or a roomful of people considering forming a Team, there are ways to hold 'meetings' (classes),
and get all your questions answered without anyone having to fly to you. These have
proven to be one of the most effective ways of getting a rather large group of
people up to speed quickly.

Carbon markets and utility grade power don't go up and down as fast
as most commodities like gold, corn or oil. If you have ever traded currencies, you know that staying up all night and watching
the markets is a pain. Your goal at this web site should be to eliminate
that type of stress in your life and eliminate 'all-night' investing habits. Besides teaching you about
carbon, cap and trade and renewable energy markets, this web site will teach you how to sleep at night.
Our goal at KWH Exchange is to make the entire process as stress-free and as
productive and profitable and safe for you and your fellow Team members
as it can be.
